The focus of the Holy Week Retreat is an “Examination of Consciousness” – to embrace the notion of “metanoia” – a profound, transformative change of mind, heart, and life, to move beyond one’s old way of thinking, to embrace God’s truth, leading to new actions and a transformed life aligned with the Kingdom of God, implying a complete inner renewal and new direction … to live the graces and Spirit of the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Where love is, God is.

 MIKE DECHANT OMI As an Oblate of Mary Immaculate, he has focused much of his energy in being a missionary: to reach out to all peoples – students, teachers, parents, grandparents, families – but with special attention to those who don’t belong to the “inner circle of the Church”. As his father was a farmer, planting seeds to feed the people of the world, so too his son has spent most of his life “planting seeds” – seeds of hope and encouragement, the seeds of the Good News of Jesus Christ. His constant encouragement to everyone is: “Wherever you go, God with God.  Whenever you go, go make a difference”.
