Guest Speaker: Beatrice Love (Canada’s Got Talent 2023 Semi-Finalist).
Beatrice Love is a 36-year-old singer from Edmonton, Alberta. Beatrice is Plains Cree originally from Treaty 8 territory. As a reborn Christian, Beatrice’s faith carries and sustains her through her journey of growing up Indigenous. Overcoming many challenges from addiction to homelessness, Beatrice is a living witness that anything is possible when one has faith, and believes. Beatrice’s debut album with 80 EMPIRE, “On The Road to Nowhere”, is her testimony in music form. Her album is a compelling narrative of her life story that focuses on bringing the darkness to the light.
