Enter the mystery of the Incarnation, God becoming man, through prayerful reflection on the icon of the Nativity of Our Lord.
The Nativity icon offers a unique invitation into Advent through examination of its major figures and features – Mary, Joseph, the angels, the shepherds, the Magi, the mid-wives, the star and the cave.
This weekend includes time for prayer, reflection, celebration of the Divine Eucharist and the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

FACILITATOR INFORMATION
Bishop David Motiuk, born in Vegreville, AB, holds a bachelor’s degree in theology, a Masters and Licentiate in Canon Law from Saint Paul University and a doctorate in Canon Law from the Pontifical Institute of Eastern Studies in Rome. Motiuk was appointed Bishop of the Eparchy of Edmonton in January 2007, following a term as Auxiliary Bishop of the Archeparchy of Winnipeg. Prior to his episcopal ordination in June 2002, he oversaw the formation of future priests for the Ukrainian Catholic Church in Canada.
