OUR LADY OF SORROWS

Mary’s journey through sorrow inspired Emilie Gamelin, a young French Canadian widow, to develop a deep resilience that led her to work her own grief into life-long service to the poor.
Her own sorrow opened her to the sorrows of others and led to the establishment of the Sisters of Providence. Join us on the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows to pray and to ponder with Mary. We’ll share scripture and reflect upon how Mary’s responses to life’s challenges and Jesus’ passion might inspire us. We’ll enjoy a buffet lunch and pray the Rosary of Our Lady of Sorrows.
