Indigenous Spirituality Retreat

Candida Shepherd

June is National Indigenous History Month and June 21 is National First Peoples Day in Canada.  For generations many Indigenous communities celebrate their culture and heritage at this time because of the significance of the summer solstice, the longest day of the year.  It is a time to recognize the great contributions the Indigenous, Metis, and Intuit people have made to Canada, and also look forward to the promises of the future.

On June 22, 2025, Candida Shepherd will be leading a retreat celebrating Indigenous Spirituality at Providence Renewal Centre.  With the use of the Medicine Wheel as focal point, Candida will journey with us into seasons, times of life, sacredness, and draw connections with the Catholic Church.
