Telling Your Story: Deepening Your Faith
We each have a story to tell, and all our stories contribute vital threads to the tapestry of God’s great story of love and creativity. When we pay attention to times of challenge, opportunity, heartache, and joy, we see the threads more clearly and experience our own stories more fully. Join us as we use Eric Clayton’s Cannonball Moments: Telling Your Story, Deepening Your Faith as a guide, based on the life of St. Ignatius. We’ll spend personal reflection time each week and gather as a group once a month on Zoom to share and listen to each other’s stories of who we are, whose we are, and who we are called to be.

Faith Nostbakken, PhD, DMin, is an experienced spiritual director rostered at the Providence Renewal Centre. She is an ordained deacon and ecumenical officer of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada. A graduate of both Newman Theological College (MTS) and the Lutheran Theological Seminary (DMin), Faith also holds a PhD in English Literature from the University of Alberta. Faith completed the training program to guide the Spiritual Exercises at Loyola House, Guelph, ON, and has been accompanying individuals and groups through the Spiritual Exercises since 2015.
Carol Sebastian, BA, an experienced spiritual director rostered at the Providence Renewal Centre, has been accompanying individuals through this version of the Spiritual Exercises since 2018.
