St. Theresa of Avila said, “God dwells within and there we should dwell with God”. We all have access to God’s guiding, leading, goodness and love. I highly value making space to listen to our own inner wisdom and the Presence of God’s Love in our lives. Therefore, spiritual direction for me, is about listening to another person’s story and creating a sacred space to encounter their own dear heart, and the Divine wellspring of God’s deep abundant love.

I like to explore with a variety of art including painting and wool work. I find these practices are invitation to soul work and listening for God’s deep abundant love. I enjoy the dark quiet morning moments of late fall and winter, which are always an invitation into the womb of God. I am a wife to Matt and mom to four. These roles shed light on how our God desires intimate relationship with each one of us.

I have a degree in religious studies from Concordia University College, Edmonton along with a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Providence, a Mennonite Seminary in Otterburne, Manitoba. In 2020, I completed a Spiritual Director certificate from the Haden Institute. This certificate focused on silence, Celtic spiritual practices, teachings of the Christian mystics, Carl Jung and dream work. These were transformational for me and have provided me with more tools for Spiritual Direction. I offer a warm and non-judgmental space and invitation to come as you are. Together we can listen for the longings of your heart, and the deep, gracious, hospitable love of God.
