PROGRAMS

“Be still and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10) In our busy lives we often yearn to slow down, to rest, and renew our minds, bodies and spirits. Our human heart longs for connection with the divine, with ourselves and with others. It is in the quiet and stillness that we can more readily hear the voice of the Holy One. If you are seeking silence, community, spiritual companionship, spiritual growth or simply a peaceful place to rest for a while, we are here to welcome you. Come nourish your spiritual hunger and thirst with one of our many one-day, one-week or weekend programs or enter a deeper experience of spiritual formation “… and you will find rest for your soul.” (Matt 11:29)rams

Presence Program

Called in Love, Sent to Serve reflects the heart Providence Renewal Centre’s Spiritual Director Training Program, PRESENCE. Nine people answered the call to the ministry of spiritual direction and were sent to serve with a graduation on June 7, 2018. The Presence Program offers a supportive and prayerful learning experience which includes thematic learning modules, theological reflection, spiritual practices, retreats and a practicum. Participants learn alongside other seekers and journey with a team of professionals. This ecumenical, live-in, formation program is two years in length (September to June each year).

The next Presence Program takes place September 2019 to June 2021. For more information contact Debbie Doornbos, 780-701-1853 or email. Do you feel called?
